FirePro UK has unveiled a new mobile demonstration unit, named Melissa, to enhance its fire suppression training programs throughout the UK and Ireland. This innovative unit is designed to provide hands-on training for FirePro’s LPCB-certified condensed aerosol fire suppression systems, offering live fire demonstrations that go beyond traditional classroom learning. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with the design, installation, and commissioning of FirePro systems while witnessing real-time fire suppression in action.
Melissa accommodates various training formats, including internal engineering sessions, “lunch & learn” events, and accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs, facilitating experiential learning that showcases the functionality of FirePro systems during fire scenarios. The unit will also be utilized for external events by the FirePro Ambassadors network, targeting fire safety professionals, specifiers, and end-users eager to deepen their understanding of fire suppression technology.
The mobile unit is available for demonstrations across the UK and Ireland and requires a space equivalent to three parking bays, making it suitable for promotional events and fire safety demonstrations. FirePro has successfully deployed Melissa in partnership with the EA-RS Group and showcased it at a recent event in Manchester, where representatives delivered a CPD session to approximately 100 delegates, including members of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM).
For more information or to arrange a demonstration, interested parties can contact Kate Blake at FirePro or book directly through the company’s website. The mobile unit aims to support the broader fire safety community and enhance knowledge of modern fire suppression systems.
