Teledyne Gas & Flame Detection (Teledyne GFD) has partnered with Industrial Detection Solutions (IDS) to establish a 699 m² manufacturing facility in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), enhancing its presence in the Middle East.
This facility will produce high-precision sensors for detecting toxic and combustible gases, critical for safety in oil and gas operations, LNG/CNG plants, and petrochemical sites. The grand opening is set for June 19, 2025.
This collaboration supports the IKTVA (In-Kingdom Total Value Add) programme, which aims to bolster local manufacturing and economic diversification in KSA’s oil and gas sector. By manufacturing solutions like the DM-700 toxic gas sensor and FP-700 and IR-700 combustible gas sensors locally, Teledyne GFD addresses industry safety while ensuring faster delivery to customers.
“Our partnership with IDS brings manufacturing closer to our customers, enhancing supply chain efficiency and supporting safety in the region,” said Thomas Moeller, VP Sales & Marketing at Teledyne GFD. These innovative gas detectors are designed to withstand environmental challenges, ensuring reliable performance.
