New Physical Security Technologies and Analytic Capabilities that Deliver on Safety and Innovation to be Showcased

Motorola Solutions (NYSE: MSI), today announced the latest additions to its video security and analytics portfolio, which will be profiled at several upcoming virtual experience events.

“We are committed to providing meaningful solutions that, through the use of advanced analytics and AI, improve public safety and deliver on business outcomes for our enterprise customers,” said John Kedzierski, senior vice president, Video Security & Analytics at Motorola Solutions. “The technologies we are showcasing throughout these virtual experiences will help our customers gain greater situational awareness, empowering them to make better informed decisions in any environment.”

A number of new security solutions will be profiled at the virtual events, including:

NEW AVIGILON H5 PLATFORM CAMERAS

Motorola Solutions’ Avigilon H5 Camera platform is introducing three new cameras, including the H5 Pro, the H5A-Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) and the H5A-Corner Camera. Each of the three cameras is embedded with next-generation video analytics for enhanced objection detection, tracking and classification, Unusual Activity Detection (UAD), a number of pandemic response technologies and support for FIPS 140-2 certified cryptography and Avigilon Appearance Search™ technology to proactively flag critical events for quicker, decisive responses.

  • The Avigilon H5 Pro camera is designed to monitor large spaces, providing extensive coverage with fewer cameras for vast areas. Equipped with a 61MP sensor and 10K HD resolution, the H5 Pro camera delivers stunning image detail, simultaneously providing maximum scene coverage, while minimizing bandwidth and storage consumption through our patented High Definition Stream Management™ (HDSM) 2.0 technology.
  • The Avigilon H5A Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) Camera empowers security operators with 360° views in 2, 4 and 8 MP to monitor vast areas with ease. This cutting-edge camera delivers high-quality, detailed images with up to 36x zoom, which is ideal for critical infrastructure, public safety, sports and leisure, commercial buildings, transportation and large open areas (e.g. parking lots) to help ensure critical events do not go unnoticed.
  • The Avigilon H5A Corner Camera is an anti-ligature and no-grip solution that is purpose-built to withstand harsh attempts to destroy, detach, attack or disable it. This vandal-resistant camera is particularly suited for facilities such as hospitals or correctional facilities. If the camera is ever damaged, part replacements such as the lens or covers are simple using conventional tools. Facilities will not have to remove the entire camera from its location for repairs, minimizing the camera’s downtime.

L5F FIXED LICENSE PLATE RECOGNITION CAMERA SYSTEM

The L5F Camera System captures clearer license plate images at greater distances on high-speed, high-volume roadways. With this complete, fixed solution customers can receive real-time alerts, conduct comprehensive searches and manage data. The L5F camera system also pairs seamlessly with Vigilant PlateSearch and Vigilant ClientPortal software which allows customers to leverage patented analytics and specialized tools to uncover new vehicle location insights that help protect communities.

MOBILE VIDEO-AS-A-SERVICE BUNDLE

As the requirement for law enforcement video systems continues to grow, the obstacles to raising funding and securing grants is difficult and time-consuming. Motorola Solutions is helping agencies overcome these obstacles by delivering its body-worn cameras, in-car video systems, evidence management software and support services through a new Video-as-a-Service bundle. With no up-front investment required, customers can deploy a new mobile video system and start using it immediately under a simple pay-as-you-go program.

VB400 BODY-WORN CAMERA

The VB400 body-worn camera helps to keep security professionals safe, expedite response times and dispute false claims. Its seamless integration with Avigilon Control Center (ACC) can augment fixed video deployments by displaying first-person perspective video from the body-worn camera alongside fixed cameras for superior situational awareness. The VB400 enhances fixed video security deployments by providing unbiased video evidence, and can help protect security guards against aggression and violence.

The dates for the showcases are as follows: North America, October 6-7, Europe, Middle East and Africa, October 20-21, Asia Pacific, October 20-21, Latin America October 20-21.
