Globe Manufacturing Launches G-XTREME PRO Firefighter Turnout Jacket

Globe Manufacturing Company has introduced its latest firefighter turnout jacket, the G-XTREME PRO, now available for order. Building on Globe’s extensive experience in protective apparel, the jacket is designed to enhance comfort, mobility, and fit for modern firefighters. It is certified to meet NFPA 1971, 2018 Edition, and NFPA 1970, 2025 Edition standards and is produced at Globe’s Pittsfield, New Hampshire facility.

The G-XTREME PRO features a three-panel construction with a mesh liner to reduce bulk while maintaining protection. It incorporates the AXTION Back and AXTION Sleeve system from previous Globe designs, providing additional flexibility and reach during operations. Kevlar mesh channels in the liner improve movement while reducing weight and restriction.

The jacket also includes a redesigned T-collar for better compatibility with helmets and SCBA, which can fold away when not in use. Expanded fit options now include men’s straight, men’s tapered, and women’s fits, with chest sizes from 28 to 60 inches and hem lengths from 26 to 40 inches.

Operationally, the jacket offers a mic pass-through option, allowing radios to be worn under the jacket without compromising comfort or protection. The lapel microphone can attach to a strap without routing through the jacket opening, supporting flexibility and equipment access in high-intensity environments.

The G-XTREME PRO joins Globe’s portfolio of structural firefighting apparel, offering features that improve mobility, comfort, and inclusivity. Its release is relevant to fire and rescue services, procurement officers, and PPE specifiers seeking certified, high-performance gear that meets the latest NFPA standards.
