PFAS-free CommanderEDGE enviroWater fire extinguishers launched by CheckFire

CheckFire has introduced the CommanderEDGE enviroWater fire extinguisher range, a PFAS-free line designed for Class A fire risks involving materials like wood and paper. This new range aligns with industry demands for sustainable fire safety without compromising on performance. The enviroWater series offers three models with impressive fire ratings: a 3-litre extinguisher rated at 13A, a 6-litre model rated at 27A, and a 9-litre version with a 43A rating. Each extinguisher features a distinctive green crosshair label indicating PFAS-free contents, appealing to businesses focused on eco-friendly safety solutions.

Certified to meet BS EN3 quality standards and the UK’s MER approval for marine applications, these extinguishers are suitable for diverse environments. Built with corrosion-resistant cylinders, they are designed for long-term use even in challenging conditions. Spare parts availability ensures easy maintenance, making them a durable investment in fire safety.

The enviroWater extinguishers include a PFAS-free additive for rapid fire suppression while adhering to sustainability standards. By eliminating PFAS chemicals, CheckFire’s new range addresses both regulatory and environmental concerns associated with fire safety products. Managing Director Cameron Robins emphasized the significance of this launch, underscoring CheckFire’s commitment to balancing fire safety with environmental responsibility. Robins noted that businesses increasingly prioritize eco-conscious products, and the enviroWater range offers a high-performance solution that meets this demand while promoting a greener planet.

The CommanderEDGE enviroWater range embodies CheckFire’s dedication to both fire safety and sustainability, meeting the growing demand for environmentally responsible fire protection solutions.
