LDA launches Mini ONE: EN 54 voice evacuation and PA without oversizing your project

LDA Audio Tech expands its portfolio with the new Mini ONE, a compact public address and voice evacuation system certified to EN 54-16 and EN 54-4, designed for installations with up to two audio zones. The new ONE-150 model addresses a common challenge: meeting the standard without going beyond what the project actually needs in terms of power or functionality.

A series that keeps growing towards smaller installations

The ONE series was built to make certified voice evacuation accessible in medium and small-scale projects. Mini ONE takes that approach one step further, fitting naturally into environments such as retail premises, sports centres, low-occupancy public buildings and franchise networks.

It shares the same design principles as the rest of the series: compact format, flexible installation in Wall & Rack configuration (rack, desktop or wall mount) and straightforward integration in spaces with physical constraints.

Typical use cases

The absence of cascading reduces design complexity and makes it easier to standardise the project across multiple sites.

In dual-purpose spaces such as cultural venues or multipurpose halls, the two-zone configuration allows evacuation announcements and background audio to be managed separately, without additional amplification equipment. This simplifies both the cabling layout and ongoing maintenance.

In projects with space or technical infrastructure constraints, such as small public buildings, the Mini ONE architecture with integrated main/backup amplification eliminates the need for auxiliary racks or external redundant systems, while maintaining EN 54-16 compliance within a single unit.

Technical features focused on efficiency and compliance

The ONE-150 integrates two Class D amplification channels with a maximum output of 150 W per EN 60065, in a main/backup configuration. This ensures system continuity in the event of a failure, meeting EN 54-16 requirements.

It supports either an A/B zone layout or two fully independent zones, with speaker line supervision and end-of-line supervision terminators.

Key technical features:

  • Open LDA ONE-150 Mini ONE enclosure showing its internal electronics and backup batteries3 audio inputs with priority levels and mixed input.
  • 2 pre-amplified outputs for external amplifiers.
  • Integrated DSP with parametric equaliser, loudness control and per-zone volume adjustment.
  • Dual EVAC and ALERT pre-recorded message player (up to 10 minutes of memory).
  • Fire detection panel integration via 4+2 supervised GPIO ports and Modbus RTU.
  • Local control via LCD display, no external software required.
  • Compatible with up to 8 MPS-8Z microphones or VAP-1 panels over CAT5 UTP.
