LumenVox, OneVault introduce advanced voice biometrics to African market

LumenVox has entered a partnership with OneVault to provide the African market with voice biometrics solutions for remote authentication, the company announced.
For more than eight years, OneVault has already been delivering voice biometric solutions in its home market of South Africa, recently adding biometric-enabled multi-factor authentication to identity management platforms. OneVault will now leverage voice biometrics algorithms from LumenVox to deliver customized authentication solutions across multiple channels and use cases.
“At OneVault we believe in the power of strengthening authentication. We are thrilled to be working with LumenVox to deliver cutting-edge biometric modalities that are so urgently needed by businesses to provide their customers with a convenient and secure channel,” said Paul Hutton, CEO of OneVault, in a prepared statement.

“OneVault and LumenVox bring a world of experience and insight into the biometrics field,” said Edward Miller, CEO of LumenVox, in the announcement. “Together I am confident we can fill a major gap within the biometrics market, specifically when it comes to tailored integration. OneVault has a proven track record of successful rollouts and meticulous tuning. Our technology combined with their conscientious team of experts will result in exciting development.”
The partnership has already resulted in the development of technological initiatives with the South African Fraud Prevention Services (SAFPS) and Contactable.
Earlier this year, LumenVox updated its biometric authentication suite with voice biometrics to validate customer identity.
